Sony are developing a new type of firmware is now set in the ROM. section of The playstation 3 making it real difficult for user's to access even if they try and crack this it wont be able to save.

Sony's plan is to Cut the CFW off for good and keep the firmware back in shape.
Now that DEV's are at thier highest appearance on thier next release and better act fast cause sony is not stopping for a cause .
This Update will be soon Ver : 3.60 that will activate all ROM compatibilities to it's fullest.
The sony ps3's security will be locked down for good and this would be a major drawback for DEV's / Hackers to try and crack the system and use this sort of jailbreak again.


This is only a rumour Dont post shit saying im lying Sony has this plan on thier scale but not 100% tested i think :FU:

Sony hasn't announced this like they did on 3.56.
The ROM (Read only memory) will be there and iv seen this process been done on the playstation 3 already once after another time trying this they will be lucky and i know how sneaky sony are don't believe wiki for 1 second cause sony don't announce shit until the release is actually there

Um hasn't it always been in the ROM? Well its not possible for it to be completely in the NAND because of its 16mb limit. The NAND only contains the files critical for bootup, and the file structures. The one thing they MAY do is enable the systems eFuses and use it to prevent any downgrading in the future and use their rootkit to continue to change their keys.

I personally think Sony should just give up. It was their fault they were not secure enough. 1 thing I shall say, I can't wait for PS4. Let's see how really good their security gets.

they will try to hard to secure the system that they will do "kindergarten errors" they try to use to many things to secure th ps3 that it'll all backfire and somewere down the line it'l get opened again

No OMG they are changing the .PUP and locking it for a ROM to load the file that's accessed...

No more need be able to load 3.60 This improve's the security by a long range if the file is locked down and made into a ROM file.

The ROM file's can only be opened once then locked to never open again and the placing this in 3.60 ROM file's will be possible for sony to completely own all the DEV's now and im sorry but if ur going to 3.60 this could cause u to fail and sony to win over ur system for good
