This is weird, because shen you usually have the newest firmware, it will say there is no new updates found, and that is what comes up after you download this one. So i decided to check it out, and its true. If you go on ps3 and try it, you will get the same thing.
Now, does this mean we could update to a 3.56 CFW easily when it comes out? Maybe they could code into that update and make it the same as the current one as they both work. Anybody got a theory on this?

No, Sony re-released OFW 3.56 which fixed the problems that the first 3.56 did to upgrading HDDs.
