(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Is the ps3's nic or whatever it is that contains the mac address removable/replaceable?

For example if i had a "dead" ps3 and wanted to switch the NIC card with another would it work?

Well it depends on if that Mac Address is the NIC's or if it's the PS3's, If it's the NIC's the Mac Address would definitely change BUT there's still your PS3's IP Address which you can't change at the moment, I'd say give it a shot and see, I mean whats the worst that can happen? It might not turn on but hey at least you tried.

NIC stands for Network Interface Card. It's also installed on every computer in the world, Its essentially a device that allows you to access the internet.

Also known as Network Interface Controller.
