maybe online only works with 3.56? have you bought it used?

I have Dead space 2 via download, It works perfect on Multiman and when I select multiplayer on the game it asks me if I would like to buy a online pass and takes me to the ps store to purchase. It's £7.99.

Maybe try reinstalling it?

ea has this on their new games so people who steal games must pay to play online. In other words, don't pirate

or pirate and dont go online..
thats really sucks...

some times when i download pc games the uploaders and hackers who put it online say: "if u realy like the game, buy it"

Gotta be way around this ... my mate bought the pass for fifa 11 .... if i sign into his account by creating a new user on my ps3 then I can then sign back into my own account and im still online on fifa...

So my question being if this downloads the pass to the ps3 then surely it must be available to take off the hard drive via ftp and then transfer to the same place on someone elses ps3 to gain access ???

Well i tried redownloading one of my passes I paid for and looking for a modified file with time n date matching.

Unfortunately all the folders show up with a time of 0:00

Is this normal ?

You really think info like that is stored locally?
It's stored on their database and compaired with your psn id

If this is the case then why if i sign in with someone elses id on my ps3 that has bought the fifa 11 online pass , then sign into my id that has no pass it lets me on with no request for pass code or anything else ???

It does work with 3.55, purchased an online code, though for Fifa11 - But it works like a charm.

Because the access token is still valid.
Do the same, but switch the ps3 off before using your account, you'll see
