Post: how do i downgrade from 3.56 to 3.55?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); just want to know if i can i went out to get a new PS3 today and i want to know if there is any way to downgrade my old one that is currently on 3.56.

ive heard you had to "brick" your ps3 to be able to upload any firmware to it, as long as you stay offline. NOOB QUESTIONS: 1.) wat exactly does "brick" mean 2.) after doing this, is it possible to upload any firmware?

you can only downgrade with this 3.55 lower 3.56 = no unbrick :confused:

"brick" means you basically screw your PS3 over, and supposedly, you can, "unbrick," it with a USB, but I highly doubt it works.

Don't do that method.

Question answered. 3.56 downgrade isn't possible atm. Thread closed.
