1. Go to “Network Settings” >”Internet Connection Settings” > “DNS Setting” > “Manual”

2. Now put this number as both the Primary and Secondary DNS:

67.202.81.137

3. You should be able to sign into PSN without updating to 3.56.

Ok this is called simple ps3 proxy.

It spoofs the firmware so say if your ps3 firmware is 3.55 then in first box you keep the same then in the second box you put 3.5500
as tht is your firmware (Note:Only works for 3.50 higher soz) then in the thrid box you put the firmware that your ps3 wants to update to e.g. 3.5600 then click start then go to start>cmd>ipconfig and take note of your IPv4 address then go to you ps3 and on proxy click use for the ip put your IPv4 and port as default 8080 and then save don't test cus somtimes it fails and you have to restart ps3 and sign in ftw download link below and image attached.
