It was suggested to me to go to wutang with geo patched. I did this and it froze ALOT. And there was a big problem with messages. If i tried to send a message it froze and i could not delete messages. I got an error code. After looking into it, the error code means something is corrupted and the only way to fix it is to reset my ps3 to factory.

I need to know if doing this will lose all my back up games? I can back up all my save games and stuff but im worried about losing my games. Please help me.
