Homebrew is an app or some sort of program that people make themselves, hence the home.

it adds more features to your ps3 that you couldnt normally do.

homebrew is application that u make in your house or home and you play it that u made or some one made thats not from sony

correction..homebrew is NOT a custom firmware (CFW), you need a CFW to run homebrew apps, you cannot run homebrew apps on Original/OEM Firmware (OFW) from sony...:bro:
