(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys,ive recently found out how to mod ps home allong with cod classic through the game files.in this tutorial i will be showing you how to unpack and modify any updates or settings in the game "ps home".the only thing ive found with ps home atm is tutorial text modding,allong with your appartment positions with objects etc...



||-PS HOME-||



you are going to need:

-ps home(doesnt matter what reigon,but coding mite be different)

-a CFW

-a FTP or file manager

-a brain



1.go onto your ps3,open your FTP or file manager and locate to your "GAME" file(devhdd0>GAME)now look for the game file called "NPIA00005" (if it isnt there,you either need to download ps home or find your reigon for ps home,this version i think is american)



2.copy the whole file to a usb(must have atleast 5gb spare on usb)or copy it to your desktop or documents from FTP.



3.open the file, and click on the following: "NPIA00005>USRDIR" and copy the file "SCENE_APARTMENT" to your pack file(if you dont have a pack/unpack file,have alook around for one)



4.open your cmd and type in: "cd desktop/pack" (dont include the "")and press enter,then copy and paste this in after "offzip -a -z -15 SCENE_APARTMENT.BAR ./ 0" (without the "") and press enter,it should now be unpacked.



5.now,go into your "pack" file again and there should be alot of files,look for the files "012b6810" and "000012e8".keep them and delete the rest and open them with notepad++



6.now,here is how to edit the text in your appartment,go to line #65 to #107 for the text,for an example,ill edit the "welcome" msg.the script should be: kWelcome = "Hi %s wecome to Home", :: now the bit in red is what you edit,you can change it to your liking but i would advise you to keep the same amount of charecters or it could not work.



7.after you have edited your file,now its time to pack it back up,open up ur cmd again and copy n paste this: "packzip -o 012b6810 -w -15 012b6810.dat SCENE_APARTMENT.BAR" or if you modded the 000012e8 file: "packzip -o 000012e8 -w -15 000012e8.dat SCENE_APARTMENT.BAR"



8.now that your file is ready to use,lets get it back onto the ps3,first off,copy and paste it either onto ur desktop or onto your usb,then go to the game root: NPIA00005>USRDIR>SCENE_APARTMENT and overright the SCENE_APARTMENT with the modified one using FTP or file manager,load up ps home and your done!

also,the text on screen will work but havnt tested the positions of objects,so you can try them out yourself and report back to me if its a sucess.
