i have 2 playstation 3's one on 3.56 and one brand new and jailbroken on 3.55-JB . (both slim) ok so i want to modify my socom confrontation (BCUS98152) and be able to play online but the problem i have come to is that i can not update my socom on my 3.55jb ps3 due to not being logged into the PSN so can i download the actual update (1.61) and instal via USB or some other method? if so does anyone know where i can find this file? if all that works out once i have it updated and modified can i transfer it via system settings data transfer to my 3.56 and use it without any problems?

if not here is my next question

can i data transfer everything from my 3.56 to my 3.55jb ? if so how? and will it take the socom game data that includees the updated version i need? if that is possible can i edit it then transfer it back to the 3.56 and use it online.?

maybe i sound like an idiot i dont know... im just trying to play the way i want to and sony wont let me on 3.56

ok try to get the update from the 3.56 the transfer onto a usb stick the put in the 3.55 ps3 and put that file into the correct folder game data im sur its that folder if you not sure just look on the 3.56 ps3 as to what folder it goes in the just put it in the 3.55 ps3's folder.

what?? that didnt make any sense.. my 3.56 isnt jb so i cant see where it goes...

ok well that was a very useful response but... lol... the patch is only 1.60 and im almost positive the current is 1.61 and i need the 1.61 to make it all work.. so any one know where the 1.61 patch is..?
