Install Naima CFW via USB Drive in system update in XMB or recovery mode.

Installation(note- this part is just a copy and paste from a tu for the windows version but it should work fine):
1. Install Charles Web Debugging proxy and patch it to full version.
2. Run Charles Web Debuggign proxy and make the fallowing confs depending your region:
EU: fuk01.ps3.update.playstation.net and auth.np.ac.playstation.net
AU: fau01.ps3.update.playstation.net and auth.np.ac.playstation.net
US: fus01.ps3.update.playstation.net and auth.np.ac.playstation.net
UK: fuk01.ps3.update.playstation.net and auth.np.ac.playstation.net

Proxy -> Reverse Proxies…:
Add those two hosts to Charles depending your Region like shown on screenshots.







Tools -> Map Local…:
Add mapping to local file like shown on screenshots and select the correct “Host” depending your region.

Tools -> Rewrite;
Add rewriting rules like this:

Locations:
Name: PS3 version spoofer
Locations: Protocol: https, HOST: auth.np.ac.playstation.net, Path: /nav/auth

Rules:
Type: Modify Header
Where: Request
Match, Name: X-Platform-Version
Match, Value: PS3 03.55

Replace, Name: X-Platform-Version
Replace, Value: PS3 03.56
Replace All







Proxy -> Proxy Settings:

Add the “auth.np.ac.playstation.net” to the “Locations” list so you can see it’s working.





Disable IE and firefox proxy so you won’t get your computer traffic shown





Tips for Charles:

- Make sure 80/443 ports are free(not used by any other program) and Charles can listen to them.
- Allow access to Charles from your software firewall if you have any.
- Check if you have: Proxy -> Recording (Session 1) enabled, if not enable it Proxy -> Start Recording
- When you try to connect first time to PSN, Charles will prompt if you wan’t allow access from PS3 ip to Charles -> ALLOW!




This is where we run into problems and why this is a WIP. We need a subsitute for Dnsmasq that works on mac. Hopefully this will be found/created soon! BTW If you want you can use a VM to run it but im trying to make this as easy as possible. If anyone can help its appreciated.
