(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so i had geohots CFW then i went back to the 3.55 OFW to install kmeaw now when i try to install kmeaw it copies the update data to the HDD and reboots into the update screen as any other update but it says that the latest system software is already installed theres no need to update HELP

probally the wrong vesion of kmeaw try re-downloading one and be sure its for 3.55

well if you are 100% sure...
go check in your system settings if your not on ofw 3.56?
if your on 3.55 it pretty much must be the custom firmware thats not right,,, so redownload

im not i even get to read the lisense agreement of kmeaw

1. Turn off Playstation®3.

2. Hold The power button down; The system will turn on and turn off once again.

3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps

4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.

5. You will be promted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button

6. The Recovery menu will pop up.

install it from there hope this helps

put it on the usb in ps3/update
if it says you cannot update you probally are on OFW 3.56 go check ps3 XMB system settings> system information

what you mean different?
thats how installed the ofw 1st then done the same for the cfw & have had no probs.
