I was 2fresshh before
just wondering anyone think this could be related to how strong your connection is cause the i heard the old proxy server people would use to bypass the MW2 patch to do the prestige glitch would prompt them to update, because there internet was to weak

try diffrent primary dns's ,that was my problem , look in your cmd.exe and try diffrent ip addresses it may work Upside Down Happy

dude when you are prompted to update it simply means you are almost there. Im 100% sure you screwed up your charles settings on those region settings. Which region are you playing from btw? U need to configure Charles (dus01 or duk01 etc) and your update.txt (the CDN=XX and your dus01 or duk01 stuff like that). Don mess with the other settings already if u don want to make it worse.

1. Read the request from PS3DNS.exe, it will briefly tell u your region settings required to fix your updatelist and charles.
2. Fix your update.txt and CDN
3. check your charles its pointing to the update file and correct region setting.
4. You may want to try to put 8.8.8.8 instead of 192.168.1.1 for ur Secondary DNS on PS3. Heard it works for some.

Pokemon Trainer
I'm holding off on doing this bypass right now,
but do you have to install the certificate to your computer, and PS3?
Try that maybe?
