Updates downloaded through FTP scan will be saved under the “PS3 Game Updater Updates (FTP Scan)” in the aplication directory.

WHAT this program Do ?

the clues in the title lol you can update your ps3 game with it if your on 3.55(or any other fw) and offline...

My understanding is that if you install updates, which i have been using this app for about a month now, then some games will not play using a backup manager...I recently tried to install "Agarest:Generations of War" and after installing the update it gave me black screen after start up....Any input guys? Other backups that I have "aquired" work fine with the updates ...Here's the list of ones that work with updates if anyone cares:

1. Borderlands
2. 3D Dot Game Heroes
2. Disgaea 3
3. Two Worlds 2
6. Far Cry 2
7. Achemist of Arland


Im not sure if updates are advisable or not...Can someone let know about your experiences with updates or this program?
