its gta4 complete edition aka it contains all dlc, ive used rogero and multiman back up mangers to copy the game to the hdd. so once installed i load it with mutiman and load from straight to the manager not quitting to the xmb and it gets to the screen where a pop up should come up saying instaling game data to the hard drive but instead of doing that it just goes dim and plays the background images constantly. ive changed the payloads,the versions of mutitman and rogero and even the cfw and still it dont work . i know there guides on this but ive read them and followed them and it still ent worked

all i can think of is that the game its self contains the 1.06 patch as when i load it i dont get a warning saying this game needs to be updated

What filesize is the game? If it's over 4gb thats probably something to do with it.

Also, I suggest finding the latest update online, and putting it in the correct folder it goes in manually (You might need to create folders, just ask someone who has the update installed)

the game is 18 gig but i have copied god of war 3 which is 38 gig and that works fine

Are you sure? You might wanna use PS splitter or whatever it's called to split into >4gb files... I hear you get alot of problems if the files aren't.
