You could buy a used one from Amazon and hope that they havn't used it since 3.56 just contact the seller of used console and ask what FW it's on

I just bought a New slim ps3 from walmart about a week ago. the ofw on it was 3.41. You should just buy a new one and get the warranty. :y:
