If you're online, I don't see any problem. But usually there is no harm in updating to OFW via USB, Please do not blame me if you break your PS3, just giving you options! :p

Ok I clicked update via internet and it strarted installing after downloading now its in a loop it gets to like 80% then fails tells me to restart I turn the ps3 off then I turn it on again and it starts installing then fails again :jim:

Yeah probably. It wasn't mandatory for me to update to v2, so he's probably trying to install 3.56 v2. Why can't people just leave their consoles alone, and STOP trying stupid shit?
