Just wondering whether anyone can help us with a quick question...

I am fortunate enough to own 2 PS3's, 1 running FW 3.56 for online and the other FW 3.41 and jailbroken!!!

question, if I have used it before to transfer data etc, and have changed software on usb dongle to hermes v4b ( 3.55 spoofing).
How comes I can't play black ops, and other games if i'm not going online??? surely if I just used dongle I can spoof the FW & and just play FW 3.55 games???

Just install ofw 3.55 and then update to cfw 3.55 kmeaw.

It actually requires a part of the firmware that the spoof does not provide! :p I'm not too sure weather you want to upgrade to 3.55 on it because CFW is slightly unstable and I find better boot capabillity using the 3.41 hermes v4b!

i got a problem with my 3.55 kmeaw CFW or my ps3...
every time i try to start a game from HDD (Gaia Manager) my ps3 frozen... what can i do ??? i also try it with the lvl2 patcher...

cheers for that... as you said no would rather not upgrade and CFW 3.55.... Am happy just manipulating files then transfering them across.. question though!!! I am I doing it right or am I missing something??? using desktop PS3 Usb jailbreak program,putting usb dongle in then upgrading to hermes v4b, and doing routine on PS3 3.41.. can get everything else but can't play 3.55 games!!! what exactly am I doing/missing for it not to work???
