(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Yeah the title is true, I need help on trying to break my PS3 not like smashing it up or anything like that just something that will mess up the disc laser or something that will make the PS3 stop reading discs, the reason I am doing this is because i'm taking in my slim ps3 to get it replaced with a new one because it is still under store warranty and I kind of need a legit reason on why I need it changed, +Rep to anyone who helps.

Well, i thought the same thing. What you can do is, get a game you don't like, bend it so you break it and put it in your Playstation 3. Then wait for about 3-5 minutes and try to take it out. But i still didn't do it because they might check it and say that the user didn't take care of the PS3 and all that. Then you will be left with a broken PS3 and no repair. But i'd still do it anyway, there is a really good chance that they will give you a brand new Playstation 3 with the 3.55 firmware and un-banned from Black Ops of course.

Well if you read what i said again it does say 'To get a new replacement PS3'. So yeah thats why I want to break my PS3, are you going to help or are you gonna sit behind a computer screen thinking your smart?
