Nope the firm ware isn stored on the hdd. Use fockpsn

I think so, I heard people bypassed it but I didn't know if it was for real. I accepted it, but that also means that they can spy on you like crazy so... If you get banned use the psidpatch 1.5 to generate a new console / ps id it will unban you.
