Spoofing means faking.
3.55 -> Spoof -> 3.56.
Which means the app lets PSN think you got 3.56, while you actually have 3.55
.Its kinda like woman's in Tailand "spoof" their gender... Next thing you know your banging a dude instead of a hot gal... No, i dont have experience with it you little devil!

I'm with you there, I really don't get the whole point of the spoofing when it just changes the version on the PS3, but doesn't really do anything. I'm still not convinced that Sony can think ur a legit 3.56 with the spoof.
