Personally I would use it to run other OS (basically another PC). However if you just want homebrew then a jailbreak is what is most recomended... Most stable way of running homebrew, If not (you don't want to spend money on such devices to jailbreak, then, 3.41 CFW is what I recomend secondly!

I think you can use ps3MFW to make a cfw for 3.15?

I would recommend 3.55 cfw because i found that to work the best and it is the latest cfw.

I'd go with 3.55 cw. Just because everyone is making homebrew for it and such

i had the ofw 3.15 ps3 for a while and i used the pl3 payload to jailbreak. anyways it was nice but also a huge pita because new games cant run plus 3.15 support is about dead. u should just pull the trigger on cfw 3.55 or if u wanna keep 3.15 use the pl3 payload to jb

i had 3.15 ps3 that i got back from sony but i just updated to 3.55 cfw kmeaw and i dont have any issue

Update to 3.55 and install Geohot Cfw or Kmeaw Cfw

Yes But If You're Running 3.55 Cfw You Can Bypass And Play Online
