You're screwed, there are no jailbreak methods on 3.56 at this time. However, there are very risky downgrading methods which involove purposely bricking your console. You could try that but I'd advise against it.

I know the thead has been closed but that is the correct method I think. The first thing it says that it is risking since you have to purposely brick your console. I'd reccommend that you go onto eBay. I picked up a 3.55 console with a faulty Blu-Ray for £60

Well, if you buy that one, you cant play games right? cuz of blu-ray isn't working?

Wrong, I can just play backups off of my external HD. I can't backup my own games though. I'll just download the ones that I want and it's only a laser decfect which you can get foar about £20

The Blu-Ray laser and tray you can get for £20. The PS3 was £60, meaning that a PS3 would have cost me £80-£90 depending on how cheap I can get the laser.
