Post: PS3 3.60 Update Info !

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Sony have released information which suggests they are working on a cloud save system and plan to incorporate it into an upcoming firmware update for the PlayStation 3.

A cloud save system is where you have the ability to save the progress of a game, and instead of saving the data to the console's hard drive, it is uploaded to a server where it is accessible to any console which logs into that specific account.

The catch to this new feature is that it will only be available to "PlayStation Plus" members, and, due to the nature of the system, developers have the chance to disallow their games from using the feature, should something go wrong.

Sony went on to say that the new feature will be called "online saving" and that it will be included in PS3 firmware update 3.60.

With this being known, would it be dangerous to use this with a modded savegame? (Without using CFW)
