(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); well with the 3.60 update coming I thought i should help some people with spoofing the update. This is fairly easy, i dont have it into a .pkg yet so u have to do it manually.

Steps

1. run abestOS, then exit
2. run filemanager
3. on your usb have a file called version.txt (empty file)
4. simply navagate to rw_flash / vsh / etc
5. there should be a file called version.txt overwrite the one on usb with this
6. leave your ps3, and open version.txt on you pc
7. the first sentence it should say like region or something then 03.5500 or 03.5600 if your on 3.56 spoofer.
8. simply change the 03.5500 to 03.6000
9. then you can look at psn's update list address to pick any version
10. save it and put it back on usb
11. simply replace the one you just modded with the original
12. then exit out of file manager
13. restart ps3 and then your ps3 is on 3.60!

note: just do this so your not prompted for updates, you might be able to use this to get online but idk yet


I might make an app that you can choose your ps3 version

Do not, I repeat do not make it higher than the update itself b/c it will not find it and you will have to wait for the update

I have the 3.56 spoofer over 3.55 kmeaw. Should I remove it first? Or it doesn't matter?

idk but it is in resource

found it,its not on resources,its on rw_flash / vsh / etc/
