So basicaly am I able to jailbreak the ps3 without a psn account but when I jailbreak will I be able to make a PSN account without updating to 3.56 ?

please someone help me I am new to ps3 modding I usely do 360 but I am moving to ps3 so please guys someone help me plzz...

Ok first of all 3.60 is out now so to make a playstation account you have to update. But if you update you can no longer use and cfw.

You can use a jb device with a spoofer so the playstation thinks it's 3.60, and then you could you playstation network. Look under hacks and glitches section for one.

You dont have to have a psn account to jailbreak!! Everything you do is from your usb so why would you need an account? Firstly install kmeaw 3.55 pup update (search for it its here or on youtube. Then install either blackbox ftp server or comgenies awesome file manager (its on here under downloads although i find blackbox easier) although i do have both.

Then follow this link but you will need filezilla (for blackbox) and install blind dev.

This is the system i am on. still on 3.55 with quite a bit of cfw, emulators patches etc, and haven't even noticed that 3.60 came out!! I have tried the 3.60 spoofer but it is unreliable and tends to sign out every half hour or so.
