Remember that they made some changes to the 1.12 patch_mp.ff so if u put a 1.11 patch_mp.ff it will work but you will not conect to anyone....

u will only connect to other people who have minus ping

but minus ping wont connect to u to many people

i have 45m's ping on 50mb broadband

for sum reason when u bypass u get a minus ping on the 1.04 servers i think the only game mode u can play is ffa

What did they change in 1.12, can you still have mod menus? Lol not asking because I want to, but Im just wondering.

Changing the default_mp.self will allow you to use 1.11 patches, but no online. Changing the patch_mp.ff only has limited modification capabilities, but you can play online.

I am online hosting now. A funnt thing has happened. I am using a 1.11 patch and true i can only join with bypassers!! However i have found that if someone has bypassed their friends can join them!!! Bypassed or not!!

ping count is the amount of time it takes to send one packet from one server to another.
