You know you can get those saves off of your PS3 and back them up using a file manager or ftp server right?

Yes but I wanna transfer them to my other 3.60ofw ps3 and it doesn't recognize the files from usb... and I don't know another way to transfer them... data transfer isn't working either... and yes im doing it right im not a noob but I wanted to know if there is a pkg for it the namia firmware doesn't appear to have it either for me... not sure what else I can do... I know there is a save unlocker app out there ill do some research into that forgot about it till just now.

Thats because it's locked to your account, what you need to do is only backup the files called GT5 and the param.pfd file or whatever is in there, I'll find out which one and edit it into this post.

Backup those files, they have the actual gamesave data like how far you are in the game and you can use it on any account just replace only those files.

I know im trying to transfer it to the same account on another ps3... both are mine. I appreciate the info though ill try as you suggest + rep. What im trying to do is transfer some dragon age saves for dragon age 2 im assuming the process regardless of game is similar though thanks in advance.
