I appreciate how he keeps multiman up-to-date.
But Dean should hold out on the updates for awhile and release something incredible for v1.17.00.

what exactly does "Added: Check if game has split files (.666xx) upon game lauch" mean? does it mean we can play games with split files from external hd or it just checks for the files.

If there is a file(s) bigger than 4 GB and your using a external HDD to play or transfer, you can have to use PS3Splitter and split the file(s). Now multiMAN can read the split files(.666xx).
