Your best bet is to just try it out, get a PS2 game DVD put it in your computer and copy all the files onto your computer then FTP them to your PS3 in the folder multiman uses and just try it out.

I think I know another way that would allow you to play PS2 games but just try what I said already first

thats what happens when i use multiman tried most places to put the files... will the ps3 not read copied playstation 2 disks either?

Hmm.. I'll try to find you a PSN download for it or something, look on the PS store to see if it's on there so I'm not wasting my time xD

Also I remember awhile ago there was a thread having how to play burnt PS2 games on your PS3 if it was compatible with PS2 games like yours is, I'll try to find that.
