The whole 'update safely' thing is just a bunch of bull to get rep and attention for peoples threads, just update straight from kmeaw 3.55 to 3.60 and everything will go fine.

Get The 3.55 OFW Install it, Then safely update it to 3.60 OFW.

but if i upgraded from kmeaw 3.55 to ofw 3.60 won't that stop me from using my usb stick on the ps3 in the future?
