Even if not id like to dump some memory and learn the arcitecture of the PS3.

I belive this can be done with an exploit graf released the other day. He managed to get linux gentoo to boot on the PS3.

I need someone with knowlage of Linux commands as i dont want to mess up my PS3 (Not to bad anyway lol)

Also i was wondering if graf got gentoo to boot would i be able to get BackTrack to boot? This would enable me too hack WIFI with my PS3

Well awhile back Kakaroto released a HV and bootldr dumping kernel module. Thats what you need first


• repos @ 0x2c00 - 0x43ff
• partition table @ 0x6000
• SELFs @ 0x20000, 0x37000, 0x55000, 0x1624bc, 0x6c25b4, 0x6d5470
• FSELFs (?) @ 0xa19a0, 0x12dea0, 0x369720
• other SCE files @ 0x35e100, 0x6c5ed4
• LPAR data @ 0x12a0a0

You need a Omega8 board, Im not sure how many ports to different boards are there so yea. Get the Kernel module than get the dev board.

Thanks for the heads up, Ill take a look in a minuite. So is it defo possible to get 3.60 auth passphrase/keys on a 3.55 ?

Well I dont think you accually can because the 3.55 PS3 doesnt have the new AUTH signature in it. The system doesnt have 3.60 and doesnt know the auth. If you caould some how dump the static process from trying to sign in im sure you could get it. But I dont think you can get it from a 3.55 HV, Try searching through Lv1 or see what Graf says :p
