(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, I have used the new EBoot.fix app + shadowcopy to boot games from the XMB in my 3.55-kmeaw, works great.....but, I have a question. How do I use this if the game has update gamedata. In the Instructions it says to erase all gamedata for the game you are going to use this for...So far, I have only used this for games that I havent installed updates for via .pkg....if anyone has the answer please let me know.

Same as normal, I think you will have to fix the eboot again though.
Next time ask in the questions section.

Ok, so I am kinda confused Julian. If the EBoot fix requires that I delete the game update info that I previously installed, then how would I re-fix it? Do I delete the update info, then install the EBoot.fix, then re-install the update? Will that even work?

You have to delete all the game data and never update (it says that in one of the read me files). You can't go online anyway so why would you be interested in a patch? Unless it affects the single player features.

So, update patches are only for multiplayer? I dont think so. I have patched "Fallout:New Vegas" and we all know there is no multi for that title,. as well as DLC for "Borderlands" that was installed via .pkg...I appreciate your input, but I think you're incorrect...there has got to be a way to have both XMB lauch and updates....

Fallout New Vegas has DLC so they may have had to update that and Borderlands has DLC and multiplayer so they would have to update that. The only other reason for patches is to fix bugs, glitches, & hacks which is why I said unless it affects single player.
