Risk of getting banned in the future from previous piracy and spoofing after updating 3.60 making the update pointless.
this is not very likely to happen i have been told
risk loosing backups
im not a real big games person and i mostly enjoy online when i do play games

if theres any more concerns i should have please help me out what will i loose, will i get banned on OFW for using sp-int, prod-qa, should i update, stay, am i a complete idiot, anything would help? :p

You won't get banned. Sony was bluffing.

You'll just lose all your jb stuff, backups, lobbys.. etc.

I personally feel more comfy with my ps3 having it back on OFW then when I had it on CFW.

yeah im frinkin all paranoid and crap hahaha even thought it probably wont happen, but now the new sp-int network is supposedly monitored by sony and they have a list more debug ps3 haha, oh and how do i get rid of all of my backups that i currently have??

Since Sony is currently being attacked by a hacking group, I doubt they're focusing on anything but them atm.

And I don't know about the back-ups as I didn't use any while I was on CFW, so I can't help you with that. Maybe just try deleting them? And then switching over? Idk if that's possible to just delete them.

Or maybe it'll just delete them when you switch over. Not sure bud.

but go to system settings restore ps3 and that will format your hdd i would gpo back to 3.55 ofw if you are on cfw first then restore ps3 deleting everthing and then update

ps..once you update cant go back as of now lol big choice to update

I don't know what you're talking about. I know they can track if you're using a CFW and stuff, a log gets sent to Sony everytime you Sign in.

If it's just a fake IP or fake Network then no, they won't know.

i know hahaha but the reason i get games are to play them online with my friends not other cfw users, i mean i can totally understand if your big on single player, but the only games i buy are the typical online games like cod and play it from time to time. but now you made me think more. ****

you havent heard of it ?? its the new rebug cfw which basicly lets you switch to other real psn networks like sp-int which is for developers only, and prod-qa which is product quality they test out all the ps store and crap on that one, ususally you would need a special developer ps3 but this cfw make you ps3 a developer ps3, the thing is that sony has all the original oem ps3 that are developers, and that the reason people are scared, even thought i doubt they will do shit, i think sony just wants to get all cfw users back on ofw

i dont see a point in playing single player games or games by my self sometimes i ask my self why i even play video games but its for online
but now im just hoping i can get online soon with out going to ofw i have been thinking aBout updating to but just dont wanna have to buy games and my luck is i update and theres some killer firmware that gets released with psn for life or some crap lol

ps i dont even think ive played one game only loaded it up to make sure it works since psn 3.60 spoof got changed to the new auth

yeah they can but its just a matter of time soon when people start getting banned i am willing to bet one of this devs that are getting sued will create something to fix it
