The reason i cant play on the 3.55 one is because the blu ray drive is broken.

Well if it's a gamesave hack or anything that gets data transfered than yes! If you insert a "Hacked file" or anything like that into the gamesave than yes.

GTA IV is different then MW2, this being you cannot transfer hacked data from one PS3 to then other for GTA IV hacks because the PS3 reads the data from the disk, unlike MW2 that reads the PATCHMP.ff from the hard drive. Sorry but not possbile unless you boot from HDD
