guys if i buy a ps3 at walmart is the firmware version 'll be set to 3.55 or they update it before letting you go with it?

It all depends on when walmart stocked them individually. Also I would guess it would be 3.56 and you could probably get a 3.55 if you're lucky. But don't hold me on that.

I guess it depends when the shipment of ps3s got there. I'm pretty sure they don't open the box and update every single one when a new update comes out LOL. You have to be lucky, i guess.

im not 100% sure about Walmart... but a friend of mine got a new one a while back and it was at 3.40 fw. but it was when 3.55 had already come out so the ps3's may not have up to date fws on them lol.

Good luck. Try to look for dust or slightly damaged boxes lol. I'm pretty sure that will raise your chances.

yeah boys thanks for answering and my ps3 is on 3.50 i will update to 3.55 in update with storage media then put the rebug.

**and i seld my old FAT PS3 80G 200$ XD and bought my new 300$
only cost me 100

Did you get a new ps3 on 3.50? New ps3s should be on 3.14 FW...
