This is pretty cool, namely when it comes to B-Spec racing in GT5, but I'm sure you'll find other practical uses too. There has been a few times where I've stepped away for a couple of hours, leaving my B-spec racer to do his thing... I come back; he wins... Easy credits. Now wouldn't it be nice if he just continued racing, over and over, earning you some of that Charlie Sheen money? Well now you can.
For this you require 3 things: 1) An understanding for DIYPS3Controller, 2) i3urn's Teensy Macro code and 3) a USB AVR board; for demonstration purposes i3urn's package includes two compiled hex files for Teensy++ 2.0 boards.
The zip file below will also contain TWO hex files for Teensy 2.0++ other devices will need to compile their own, one will press the X button every 11 seconds (useful in GT5 where you need your driver to maintain pace for the entirety of a race) and the other will initiate, wait, and restart the Lamborghini Exclusive race (the first lambo race) in GT5. The second hex assumes a race time of ~9mins.
For the moment this is more aimed at developers wanting to code up their own macros. Perhaps down the road someone'll create a simple UI, making it easy for the non-coders.
