Ok, so I have been looking around trying to find a way to get the content ID among other info from a pkg. When you extract, it doesn’t create a conf file with it.
I then found some python scripts named PS3Py that did just that. Though to a normal user, its not easy to do. So I practiced my C# skills some and wrote a small .NET tool to be a front-end to the scripts.. The tool is plain and simple.
I also know that Studio Express makes binary assemblies (programs) which are in-compatible with each other. By that a XP-compiled tool won’t always properly work on Win7/Vista, and a Win7/Vista tool won’t always work on XP. So I compiled on both my xp and new laptop, which I am typing on ATM.
To use, simple press open and select a valid PKG file, and the info comes into the bottom.
