How many disk partitions can the PS3 read?The external hdd has to be formated to FAT32,so my question is will the PS3 read more disk partitions on my 1T external HDD?

And I have backed up CODBO it stops at 99%...I am new to PS3 so is that what it's supposed to do?Do i just back out?

I had the same problem with backups freezing at 99%, its caused by the progress bar so i disabled mine. Inside your backup managers files you should find a text document entitled options_default.ini, copy this to your pc. Open the document and look for the progress bar option, you should notice it has a 1 at the end, delete the 1 and change it to a zero, so it reads progress bar 0, then save the text document, don't change the name. You can copy this back to your Ps3, replacing the standard text document or you can save it in the root of an external hard drive and your backup manager should find it when it boots up.
