(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well from recent researching and browsing it seems sonys plan is to now engrave 3.60fw into games eg.. portal 2

So i was thinking along the lines of a dual boot between cfw and ofw?

I know the Kmeaw is developing something along these lines.. possibly (You must login or register to view this content. )

But I was thinking is this actually possible to do.. from prior knowledge we know the ps3 can not be downgraded due to the firmware being flashed to the nand. So from what i can tell.. having two different firmwares on one ps3 seems impossible.

But what about an application that can run a separate OS... like you can do on a computer? eg vmware player

I'm not sure if im completely offtrack here or wrong but well maybe someone with a bit more knowledge can elaborate if this is possible? Smile

Not possible(99% sure).

And KMEAW is working on Linux dual-boot, not OFW & CFW. That thread was incorrect and got the wrong end of the stick of what KMEAW was saying.
