It can't be fat32 as it accepts files bigger than 4gb

oh, i heard it was linux, well thats what people are formatting sata drives as so that they can swap them for their standard internal hard drives.

Can't really ask Sony, i think they might be the ones asking the questions if i talk to them about this.
