(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've heard that the internal hard drive is formatted as linux, so im now wondering if i format my external to linux, will it still work for backups and will it accept files larger than 4gbs?? Thus eliminating the split file problem.

yeah, mine works fine, also in fat32 but i have loads of games with files that are larger than 4gbs and the external hard drive splits these making the only way to play the game is if its then copied again to the internal. I haven't got enough space on my internal for all my split file games so it means i have to keep shuffling all my games around, deleting and copying backwards and forwards which takes forever, especially if i just want a quick go on something.
