all New bought Ps3s can have CFW/JB on it. you just need to find the right FW like 3.41 or 3.55 and update it to the FW with USB to one of those then JB it.

not all Ps3s can be jailbroken, you need to find one that is on firmware 3.55 or lower, if you buy one that's new in stock at that particular shop then there is a possibility that it might be 3.56 or later and at present, this firmware cannot be jailbroken. Ideally, you want to find one that's been sitting on a shelf for a little while.

Not true, firmware 3.56 and upwards cannot be jailbroken as of yet, and there is always the possibility of getting a Ps3 with this firmware on it already, especially if its new stock.

Rebug 3.55.1 is the best custom firmware out, closely followed by kmeaw 3.55.
