well if you have a 3.41 or 3.55 u can jailbreak it easy 3.55 is WAYYYYY better to jailbreak, and u just use an ethernet cable to to a data thing puts the files from jailbroken PS to the 3.60 PS

3.41 Hermes CFW+PsJailbreak Dump> 3.55 Smile And make sure the Ethernet Cable is not a cross over. Make sure its about 1/2m or it may not do the transfer.

I would recommend downloading the 3.55 rebug custom firmware from rebug.me. All you need is an ethernet cable, and you can only update to a higher, or the same firmware version.

Leave your PS3 that's on 3.60 alone. The other one you get, **** keeping it on 3.41. Update it to the official 3.55 firmware, and then place a CFW on top of the original. There's no sense in having a CFW for 3.41 unless you're a dev of some sort, and giving you're asking this question, you're not one. So update the 3.41 OFW to the 3.55 OFW, and then stick a CFW 3.55 on top of that one. The data transfer question can be found here, You must login or register to view this content.
Although the FIRST step tells you to download the latest firmware, ignore it. End of story, question answered.

Because YOLO
upgrade to 3.55 then to 3.55 whichever CFW u want (probably one with backups)

Just got to data transfer utility in system settings. Follow the prompts and start the process on both ps3s, at the same time. Really easy to do.

5001.
