hmmmmmm.....if you say the disk isn't scratched, then it can't be the disk. To make sure it's not the disk, clean it using a clean microfiber cloth, and clean it like you would any other disc. Wipe the cloth from the center of the disc outward, never in a spiral motion. DON'T USE LIQUIDS. Also try different games/cds/dvds and see if they work properly, and if they do, then its just the cod5 disk. If not, then its the ps3's fault and u need to get it replaced/fix and do it asap if your still in warranty...

I had the same problem a really long time ago but I think you should clean your disk because thats how I fixed mine. Your best bet is to listen to ^the post above^.

This happened to me to. But it was happening to every game.

If its happening to every game, try reformating your ps3. That worked for me.

no, no, no... it is easy to fix, i had exactly the same problem. all you do is use a different controller when you start up the game. i dont know why it does it, but occasionally it does.

well my uncharted crashed when i was playing it, i got passed this really hard part aswell, so i dont think it is your ps3, i just think you have a unlucky disc or summin like that. i dont even know why i just posted this

Haxor!
if it is no the disk i found that cleaning the reading lens in the consul helps tremendously
