Post: get patch_mp.ff to ps3 (IDEA)!!!!!!

some one plugs there modded ps3 into there computer and sets up a network kinda like how xlink kai works, then another person who wants the patch_mp.ff BUT doesnt have cfw plugs there ps3 into THERE computer and joins the set up network created by the guy with a modded ps3, then the 2 ppl perform a data transfer using the network or ftp...
let me know what you guys think or know about this idea, THANKS!

Well for FTP to work you need client side software on the receiving PS3, which you won't have because it is OFW. The only other way of doing it would be to convince the receiving PS3 that the file you're sending is a game update and that would require extensive spoofing which no one has been able to manage so far. I vote this is a fail. The best way to do this is to transfer everything from the old PS3 to the newer one. I think that still works.

what im saying is, do a regular data transfer from your old ps3 to your new one, but performing the data transfer with a wireless connection
