No reason to stay on 3.56 bro, the private keys for 3.56, 3.60 & 3.61 are probably all the same so whenever a CFW is released it'll likely be released for all 3 firmwares at the same time.

There are several people still on lower firmwares (3.56/3.60), but there really is no point. There is a very little chance of getting a new custom firmware, and it will most likely be for the newest firmware released. I know someone who has checked through the 3.61 files, and can it is very similar to 3.56 :y:.

The keys will be same so you might as well update, the best hope you have on 3.56 is a downgrade but that would have been found by now if it were possible. The keys are hidden in lv0 of the PS3 which is the most unexplored/unknown area of the PS3. Once that has been decrypted, released, or whatever, that will be it.
