Post: How do i data transfer ?

3.55kneaw ps3
3.61 ps3
ethernet cable

What do i do now? and try make it sound easy for me even tho it properly is

Go to system on both ps3s, the data transfer option, and follow the prompts. It's really easy to do :p.
Make sure you start the process at the same time with both ps3s, and have an Ethernet cable connected to both of them.

ok thx julian atm im having trouble im on 3.15 but it wont let me update to 3.55 threw storage media keeps saying no compattible data found its in PS3 - UPDATE and ive tried 3 downloads

No data found?

Root of you usb/PS3/UPDATE/PSUPDAT.PUP
Make sure it's in that order, also put the USB in the USB port closest to the blue ray drive.

Have tried that and yes it is in right order still no luck

i have tried it in recovery mode aswell it says PS3UPDAT.pup

Change the name to PSUPDAT.PUP .
Not ps(3)updat.

i got it working but i tryied data transfer and all it done was deleete all my trophys on my main ps3 and all my accounts how do i just transfer the patch over??????????????

Everything gets data transferred except game/dlc activations, teophies, settings, and passwords. Put a patch on with compgenies awesome file manager.

i put a patch on with filezilla and blackbox shouldent that work fine?
