have this game yet. Can I still install the patch on it even though that game has never been

played on my ps3? Then later when I get it just go right ahead and play it without updating

there isnt a way to install a patch if you haven't even played it.....atleast that i know of

Well first off to install the patch you need two ps3's (just letting you know). To answer your question NO you cant install the patch onto the ps3 because you wont have anywhere to put it in (NO INFO IN GAME UTILITY DATA FOR MW2). But if you do get mw2 and have 2 ps3 then you can do the hacks once you install the clean 1.12 patch, and then data transfer. I recommend the Deadlymodz v2 patch cause its epic!!!

Well I was making it more simple but i have 2 ps3's one is on 3.61 working and one on 3.55 jb but the disk drive isn't working. Is there anyway I can create the files that would be on there if I ever did play Mw2?

Yea im pretty sure that you can do it with a broken drive but im not sure.. sorry mine arent broken but im sure that if you search the forum you'll find the answer. Sorry i cant be more of help

Guys you're all wrong... you can install patches w/o owning a game. Just go You must login or register to view this content., then install the .PKG you download

Ok with a lot of trial and error I finally got it! thanks. Now once I open up my ftp how do I install it, or can I just go to install package files when I put it on a flash drive?
