(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i have noticed that lately, alot of CFW hacks and mods involve the Dev_Blind Package, and a file manager and/or FTP.

however, none of these methods seem to work for me. i first tried "Comgenie's Awesome File Manager", pressed select, and copied the file's promising PSN access on 3.55 (version.txt, etc).

and i had forgotten that on my PS3 (unlike my friends CFW'ed PS3's) does not run the awesome file manager correctly, and never has ever since the GeoHot CFW.
it installs fine, and you can effectively delete file's.

but when you try to copy or create a file.. it will create one, but it will be invisible to most file explorers, such as windows explorer, or the ps3 OS itself. basically, the files are there, but the ps3 doesnt see them. only with a file manager (comgenie's, MultiMan, etc) or a program such as "WinRAR" can you view the files.

i have been trying to change my boot logo.
however i cannot do that since i cannot access dev_blind once it has been mounted, with anything other than comgenies.

multiman doesnt let me open the "Dev_Blind" folder to even view it's contents, blackb0x FTP + filezilla dont show "Dev_Blind as even existent, and comgenies makes file's invisible.. soo, what do i do? are there any other file manager's?
im kind of desperate now.

I use dev_blind on blackbox. After you connect via ftp go to the remote site box and type /dev_blind to access it.

^^ That, and refresh a few times on Filezilla if you're using FTP. And for the record, I recommend OpenPS3FTP & Filezilla

i got black box on my 3.55 and when i go into it gos black and i have to turn off my ps3 and file manager does the same plz help

i had that problem with comgenie aswell nothing showing up on usb or explorer wen copied

i found that multiman is better than comgenie

i definitely agree with you on that one. however, no matter how manny times i try, MultiMan (2.00.2 or whatever, latest version) wont allow access to Dev_Blind in it's file manager. you can see it, but you cant enter it.

so if i run coldboot installer i will be able to view files i saved from comgenie on windows?? im confused
